Scholarship Recipients Say Thanks
"CV Teachers have played a significant role in my life . . .
Ashley Winfield, Recipient of the Dr. B. Jean Walker Scholarship . . .
"Thank you so much to the Eagle Foundation for selecting me to receive the Dr. B. Jean Walker scholarship! This fall, I will be attending Messiah University to study elementary education with a dual certification in special education, and I intend to pursue a minor in dance as well. My teachers at Cumberland Valley have played a significant role in my life and have been an inspiration for me to want to become a teacher myself; I would like to thank Mrs. Novick and Madame Grim for always believing in me and helping me strive to be my best. I hope that one day I will be able to have the same kind of impact on my students that they and my other teachers have had on me. Thank you again to the Eagle Foundation for trusting me and awarding me this scholarship!"
